when we started orchid + bean as a small group of college freshman in corvallis, oregon we had one mission in mind: provide a space for clarity in our everyday lives.
we intentionally design our notepads to be calming and positive to elevate your mindset. beyond that, we want to develop a community of people who value their mental wellness as much as their productivity.

we're passionate about the environment here at orchid + bean, which is why we source all of our paper from sustainably and ethically managed forests and print with vegetable based inks right here in the USA.

erin jimerson
CEO
Erin is a visionary at heart and loves creativity and deep thinking. Born and raised in the vibrant Willamette Valley, she finds that inspiration is everywhere in her hometown. With a passion for helping other people recognize their unique talents and self-worth, she can think of no better day than painting with friends while having meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee.

Avery is an experienced advocate, artist and entrepreneur. Driven by her passion for sustainability, she takes pride in providing a personal experience for brand supporters. As Head of Marketing, she strives to make significant connections with customers and work toward our company’s long term goal of positive, eco friendly productivity for all.

Sophia is a confident and creative individual. She strives to express herself through different art forms as well as helping others feel comfortable to do so. She is from Tacoma, Washington. As head of operations she strives to help create a unique product that consumers will enjoy with her team. At OSU Sophia is using every opportunity to get closer to her dream of working as an apparel designer or in the apparel design field.

Reegan is a pragmatic and creative individual. She was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon, and enjoys staying close to home to attend OSU. In her free time, she enjoys sewing apparel and watching new TV shows. She is interested in a career in film and television. Specifically making costumes and designing characters through unique looks.

Colby is from a small town in southern Missouri and is always looking for an adventure. He loves the adrenaline rush when he experiences something new. Colby played multiple sports in highschool and plans to keep sports in his path as he continues education at OSU. Colby loves learning new things and new hobbies to pick up. Colby is currently a marketing major and plans to further his education within that major.

Cameron is an entrepreneur from Anchorage, Alaska that loves to spend time outside. He’s always been an entrepreneur at heart, starting mowing and shoveling driveways in his neighborhood. Later in his sophomore year of high school he started a mobile auto detailing business that served as his summer job, with a customers base of over 150 people. He is planning on going into a job in private equity or hedge funds after college with a finance major.

Alex was born and raised in Klamath Falls, OR. From a young age she has had the ambition to be innovative and change her community for the better. Hard work and grit were never a question, and have been portrayed throughout all of her life. She played soccer and track throughout high school, and graduated salutatorian of her class. She has big plans to fulfill her entrepreneurial dreams.

Natalia was born and raised in Portland, OR and enjoys city life. She has always been organized, optimistic, and has never given up on her goals and dreams. Natalia enjoys traveling and has been passionate about it since she was young. Natalia is a business major at OSU with a focus on international business which will allow her to travel.
